They’re not representing me…

How many times have you gone to your local Rep’s office, called your senators, maybe even emailed them? How many protests and rallies did you attend? And after all that, how many times did you feel that your elected representative or senator heard what you had to say, and actually represented your position on any piece of legislation.

America was founded as a “Democratic Republic” we elect people from among ourselves to serve in the federal government. The people in DC now(with few exceptions) are not serving us, but rather setting themselves up as a new “Aristocracy”. We the people hold the power, and we need to make that clear to the leadership of all political parties. We will vote for the candidate that seems most in line with our three principles. Furthermore, we will follow the votes on the floors of both the House and Senate to ensure that our representatives actually represent us. We will hold them accountable.
